The Golem’s Eye, by Jonathan Stroud

This book, The Golem’s Eye by Jonathan Stroud, is one of the best books I have ever read. It is the second book in The Bartimaeus Trilogy so I can’t tell you much in case you want to read it but I can tell you a few things. The main show is Bartimaeus, a witty shapeshifting djinni. He is about 3,000 years old and young for a djinni. Nathaniel, his master who is 14 is stressed out over the war between America, and England, but still goin’ strong.  Kitty Jones, a capricious commoner, is part of the rebellion as well. Each has a tragic, witty, and exciting tale to unfold in this awesome new installment in the Bartimaeus  trilogy.

This is  a 5 star great read for anyone who likes fantasy (But read the first one first).
